This book is sure to delight children whether they are donkey lovers or not. It's a story of David, who visits his grandparents' farm and falls in love with their donkeys and later on the donkeys' offspring. See how David interacts with the foals and how he not only learns from them, but they learn from him. The story even contains a mystery element and you can follow the clues along with David. It's educational as well, teaching kids about the kindness, cuteness and fun of being around and owning donkeys.       Bonnie Gross, Editor, Miniature Donkey Talk Magazine

I have been reading David's Donkey Tales aloud to some students.  They have been diagnosed as dyslexic but are bright students, interested in mysteries.

We had fun talking about codes.  I was surprised that they knew what a code was and they were able to figure out the clues.

One time I was tempted to skip a part but they begged me to read the entire chapter and not to skip anything.
